Reflection on Love Pt. 2
Disclaimer: This was written on June 25th, 2007 by Yours Truely. To be honest, liking someone is the least productive thing in the world. It doesn't feed you, And it doesn't bring you any more money. Going sleepless nights because you're thinking of them makes you less productive. Having to deal with the pain of a broken heart, And the jealousy of another person being with the one you like, Both cause such suffering. So why is it that we like other people? Maybe it's because we realize that giving to them brings more happiness than receiving, And maybe it's because it brings a little smile to our face. Maybe because it allows us to feel like a kid again without having to use a time machine. But most importantly, It helps us feel like a complete person. About me
![]() I am currently a graduate student studying education and will update my thoughts and experiences here periodically. Though the content of my blog may not always be the most intellectually stimulating, I believe that there is always a lesson to be learned from my posts, even if it's just a nonsensical story. I find poetry in ordinary life experiences and capture what memories I can through my camera's lens. At the end of the day I'm just another regular guy who needs to write his thoughts somewhere, and I hope you get some enjoyment out of my musings.
